Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine AI prompts for diverse applications including chatbots, content generation, and data analysis
- Conduct A/B testing and iterate on prompt designs to optimize accuracy, efficiency, and user engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical prompt solutions
- Document prompt architectures, best practices, and performance metrics
- Stay current with advancements in NLP, LLM capabilities, and prompt engineering methodologies
- Train and mentor junior engineers on prompt optimization techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Linguistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or AI model interaction
- Proven expertise in designing prompts for GPT, Claude, or similar large language models
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex AI interactions
- Experience with prompt frameworks like Chain-of-Thought, ReAct, or Tree of Thoughts
- Excellent written communication and creative problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch)
