In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering and creative language design. You will be responsible for crafting, testing, and refining prompts that drive high-quality outputs from state-of-the-art AI models, directly impacting our product roadmap and client success.
Responsibilities
- Prompt Architecture & Design: Develop sophisticated prompt templates and strategies to optimize Large Language Model performance for specific business use cases.
- Model Fine-Tuning: Collaborate with data scientists to fine-tune foundation models, ensuring alignment with brand voice and technical accuracy.
- Iterative Testing: Conduct rigorous A/B testing and evaluation of prompt variations to maximize output quality, coherence, and safety.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation on prompt engineering best practices, ensuring knowledge is scalable across the engineering team.
- Integration: Integrate prompt logic into software workflows and APIs, working closely with backend developers.
- Creative Strategy: Brainstorm novel applications for AI to drive innovation within our product suite.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, technical writing, or a related field within the AI/ML sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of LLMs (GPT, Claude, Llama), LangChain, and Python programming.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Problem Solving: Ability to deconstruct complex problems and formulate logical, multi-step instructions for AI models.
- Tools: Familiarity with model evaluation frameworks (e.g., RAGAS, TruEra) is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related field.
