Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures to protect cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Lead incident response investigations for advanced persistent threats (APTs)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise systems
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Create executive-level security reports and remediation roadmaps
- Mentor junior security analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC required (CompTIA Security+ acceptable)
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs) and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, Qualys, Nessus, Metasploit
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX)
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (existing clearance preferred)
