Responsibilities
- Design, test, and refine advanced prompts for large language models to maximize performance and accuracy
- Develop and maintain prompt engineering frameworks and best practices
- Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate prompt optimization into model training pipelines
- Conduct A/B testing and analysis of prompt variations to improve outputs
- Document prompt strategies and create reusable prompt libraries
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt engineering techniques
- Stay current with AI advancements and implement emerging prompt methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP development
- Proficiency with Python and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex prompt behaviors
