Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize prompt architectures for large language models including GPT-4, Claude, and proprietary systems
- Create iterative prompt frameworks for complex AI applications in healthcare, finance, and e-commerce
- Conduct systematic prompt experimentation and A/B testing to maximize model performance
- Develop documentation standards for prompt engineering best practices and version control protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prompt solutions into production AI pipelines
- Lead prompt optimization workshops for engineering and non-technical stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging AI paradigms and contribute to internal R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on prompt engineering experience with production-level LLMs
- Proven track record of developing prompt frameworks for enterprise AI applications
- Expertise in Python, with experience in AI frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.)
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ complex prompt engineering projects with measurable outcomes
- Experience with MLOps tools and CI/CD for AI systems
