Responsibilities
- Architect and Optimize Prompts: Design complex, multi-step prompt chains and fine-tune prompt structures to maximize output accuracy and relevance for specific use cases.
- Model Evaluation: Conduct rigorous A/B testing and analysis of AI outputs to identify edge cases, hallucinations, and performance bottlenecks.
- Iterative Development: Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Product Managers to continuously refine prompt strategies based on user feedback and model updates.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive libraries of prompt templates, system instructions, and best practices to empower the wider engineering team.
- Guardrails Implementation: Develop prompt strategies that enforce safety guidelines, reduce bias, and ensure ethical AI usage across all client projects.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience working directly with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face) and prompt engineering methodologies.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with API integrations (RESTful APIs). Experience with prompt optimization libraries is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
