Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine high-impact prompts for large language models and generative AI systems
- Conduct systematic testing and A/B analysis of prompt variations to optimize output quality
- Create comprehensive prompt libraries and documentation for enterprise AI applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prompt engineering solutions into product workflows
- Stay current with emerging AI research and implement cutting-edge techniques in prompt design
- Develop evaluation frameworks to measure prompt effectiveness and model performance
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt engineering best practices and ethical AI implementation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or related AI development roles
- Expertise in designing prompts for GPT, Claude, or similar transformer-based models
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex AI outputs
- Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into effective prompt strategies
