Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and iterate advanced prompt engineering strategies for enterprise AI applications
- Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis of prompt variations using quantitative metrics
- Create documentation for prompt libraries, best practices, and troubleshooting guides
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prompt solutions into product workflows
- Research and implement emerging techniques in few-shot learning and chain-of-thought prompting
- Monitor prompt performance across diverse use cases and continuously optimize outputs
- Maintain version control for prompt assets and deployment pipelines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or related NLP/AI development roles
- Proven expertise with large language models (GPT-4, Claude, Llama) and their prompt limitations
- Strong analytical skills with experience in prompt testing frameworks and evaluation metrics
- Familiarity with Python, API integration, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Exceptional written communication skills with ability to craft contextually nuanced prompts
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt optimization projects with measurable outcomes
- Ability to work independently with flexible hours while meeting deadlines
- Preferred: Experience with AI safety protocols and bias mitigation techniques
