Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize advanced prompt engineering strategies for production-grade LLM applications
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and performance analysis of prompt variations to maximize model accuracy and output quality
- Create comprehensive prompt libraries and documentation standards for enterprise-scale AI deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prompt engineering solutions into product roadmaps
- Research and implement emerging prompt optimization techniques including few-shot learning and chain-of-thought prompting
- Develop evaluation frameworks to assess prompt effectiveness across diverse use cases and domains
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt engineering best practices and ethical AI implementation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in prompt engineering or related NLP/AI roles
- Proven expertise with GPT-4, Claude, or other advanced LLM architectures
- Strong Python programming skills with experience in AI/ML frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into precise prompt architectures
- Experience with prompt optimization tools and techniques (RLHF, fine-tuning)
- Deep understanding of LLM limitations, bias mitigation, and ethical AI principles
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
