Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompt strategies for large language models (LLMs) including GPT-4 and proprietary systems
- Develop prompt engineering frameworks to enhance model accuracy, creativity, and ethical alignment
- Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune model behavior through iterative prompt refinement
- Create documentation and training materials for prompt engineering best practices
- Conduct A/B testing to measure prompt effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
- Lead workshops to educate stakeholders on prompt engineering methodologies
- Stay current with AI research trends and integrate emerging techniques into workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP model interaction
- Proven track record of deploying production-ready prompt solutions
- Expertise in Python and experience with AI frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain)
- Strong understanding of transformer architecture and attention mechanisms
- Exceptional written communication and problem-solving abilities
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt engineering projects
