Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompts for enterprise-level language models (GPT-4, Claude, etc.)
- Develop prompt engineering frameworks for diverse applications: customer service, content creation, and data analysis
- Collaborate with AI researchers to iterate on prompt strategies based on performance metrics
- Create documentation and best practices for prompt engineering methodologies
- Train cross-functional teams on prompt optimization techniques
- Conduct A/B testing of prompt variations to maximize output quality
- Stay current with emerging AI tools and prompt engineering innovations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field; Master's preferred
- 3+ years experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or AI model interaction
- Proficiency with Python and prompt frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face)
- Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating AI output quality
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt engineering projects
- Understanding of ethical AI development and bias mitigation
- Excellent written communication with attention to linguistic nuance
