Key Responsibilities
- Design and Refine Prompts: Create complex, multi-step prompts that maximize the accuracy and creativity of generative AI models like GPT-4 and Claude.
- Model Fine-Tuning: Analyze model outputs to identify edge cases and collaborate with engineering teams to fine-tune models for specific business domains.
- Optimization Strategy: Develop and implement rigorous evaluation frameworks (e.g., RAG, Chain-of-Thought) to ensure high-fidelity outputs and minimize hallucinations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and UX designers to translate business requirements into technical prompt strategies.
- Documentation & Training: Build comprehensive documentation libraries for prompt engineering best practices and train junior staff on advanced prompting techniques.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in copywriting, software engineering, or data science with a focus on NLP.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Python, API integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face), and basic machine learning concepts.
- Communication: Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for tone, style, and nuance in language generation.
- Problem Solving: Ability to debug complex AI behaviors and adapt strategies when models fail or deviate from expected behavior.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related technical field is preferred.
