Responsibilities
- Design & Refine: Develop and optimize complex prompt architectures for Large Language Models (LLMs) to ensure high accuracy and relevance in responses.
- Performance Analysis: Continuously monitor model outputs, identifying gaps in logic or tone, and iterating on prompts to improve user satisfaction and task completion rates.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Data Scientists and Product Managers to translate business requirements into effective AI behaviors and conversational flows.
- Testing: Execute rigorous A/B testing on different prompt variations to determine the most effective strategies for various use cases.
- Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive library of prompt templates and best practices to onboard new team members and standardize AI interactions.
- Ethics & Safety: Implement guardrails and safety protocols within prompts to prevent bias and ensure responsible AI deployment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience working with AI models (GPT-4, Claude, Llama) and a portfolio of successful prompt engineering projects.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, style, and the ability to write in different personas or tones.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with Python, JSON, and API integrations is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex AI reasoning issues.
- Adaptability: Ability to stay current with the rapidly evolving landscape of AI technology and methodologies.
