Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of venue operations and logistics for the 2026 World Cup, ensuring adherence to FIFA protocols and international standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for multi-venue events.
- Act as the primary liaison between international stakeholders, government bodies, and local vendors to ensure seamless communication and compliance.
- Develop and implement robust risk mitigation strategies for large-scale crowd control, safety, and security protocols.
- Oversee vendor management and contract administration, ensuring service levels meet the high expectations of global sponsors and fans.
- Monitor project budgets and financial performance, providing weekly reports to senior management to drive decision-making.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically within large-scale sporting events, infrastructure projects, or government contracts.
- Proven track record of managing complex logistics and budgets exceeding $1M.
- PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification is strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of FIFA World Cup operations, including accreditation processes, technical requirements, and stadium management.
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 50%) during pre-event preparation and tournament phases.
- Strong proficiency in MS Project, Jira, or similar enterprise resource planning software.
