Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless systems
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Resolve critical network outages with rapid response and root cause analysis
- Configure and optimize Cisco, Juniper, and Arista network devices
- Implement security protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access control
- Document network changes using industry-standard frameworks
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid cloud integration projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (CCNP/JNCIP certification required)
- 5+ years of enterprise-level network administration experience
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS protocols
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, VMware SD-WAN)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex network issues
- Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Valid NJ driver's license for occasional client site visits
