Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless systems
- Implement and manage network security protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architecture
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG to ensure 99.99% uptime
- Lead network migrations and disaster recovery planning for hybrid cloud environments
- Document network architecture and create detailed technical documentation
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct regular training sessions
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure network security compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (CCNP/CCIE certification required)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista networking equipment
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and advanced routing protocols
- Proven experience with SD-WAN, cloud networking (AWS/Azure), and virtualization technologies
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation
- Experience with network monitoring tools and performance tuning
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with CCNP/CCIE certification mandatory
