Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-level LAN/WAN networks including Cisco and Juniper infrastructure
- Implement and manage security protocols (VPNs, firewalls, intrusion detection systems)
- Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting for complex network outages and performance issues
- Document network topology, configurations, and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network architecture and migration projects
- Monitor network health using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct regular network audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper
- CCNP or JNCIP certification required (CCIE/JNCIE preferred)
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN technologies
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Strong troubleshooting skills using Wireshark and network analyzers
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
