Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy enterprise-grade network solutions including Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto systems
- Proactively monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG to ensure 99.99% uptime
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute network security protocols (Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS)
- Collaborate with cloud teams to optimize hybrid infrastructure across AWS and Azure
- Mentor junior technicians and document SOPs for network administration best practices
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service level agreements for critical infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent certification (CCNP, JNCIP, or CompTIA Network+)
- 5+ years experience with enterprise network design in Cisco environments
- Expertise in routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP) and load balancing
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN and network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Strong knowledge of network security frameworks (NIST, CIS) and compliance standards
- CCNP certification or equivalent industry-recognized credential required
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network outages under pressure
