Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Resolve network outages and security incidents with SLA-driven response times
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams to optimize hybrid network architectures
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and implement security patches
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for complex network issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent demonstrable skills
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Valid Ohio driver's license for occasional client site visits
