Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-level network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN systems
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Implement security protocols including VLAN segmentation, IDS/IPS systems, and zero-trust architecture
- Lead troubleshooting of complex network outages using Wireshark and network analyzers
- Document network topology, configurations, and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid cloud integration (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN implementation
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct regular network health assessments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network administration with Cisco/Juniper certification (CCNP/JNCIP preferred)
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and advanced routing protocols
- Proven experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet security solutions
- Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Python) for network provisioning
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot multi-layered network issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Previous remote work experience with strong self-management capabilities
