Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Resolve network outages and security incidents within SLA requirements
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybrid on-premises and AWS/Azure environments
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues
- Implement network security protocols including VPNs and firewalls
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and VLAN configuration
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela/Palo Alto)
- Strong troubleshooting skills using Wireshark and ping/traceroute
- Familiarity with PowerShell and automation scripting
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Valid California driver's license for occasional site visits
