Responsibilities
- Design and deploy complex network architectures including LAN, WAN, and cloud infrastructure
- Implement and maintain Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet network devices
- Lead network security protocols including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Perform proactive network monitoring and optimize performance using SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning and business continuity protocols
- Mentor junior technicians and document network configurations
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid cloud integration projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (CCNP/JNCIP preferred)
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- Expertise in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and switching technologies
- Strong knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards
- Certification in AWS or Azure cloud networking
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Proven troubleshooting skills using advanced diagnostic tools
- Ability to lead cross-functional technical projects
