Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy microservices using Python/Java in a cloud-native environment
- Optimize database performance and implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS/GitLab
- Lead weekend sprint planning and code reviews for distributed teams
- Debug and resolve critical production issues with SLA-driven urgency
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Contribute to open-source projects and internal tooling initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in backend development with RESTful APIs
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Strong Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA proficiency
- Proven experience with weekend shift rotations
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
