Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and wireless networks
- Implement and manage network security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection)
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Troubleshoot complex network issues with minimal downtime
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cloud services teams for hybrid cloud integration
- Lead network upgrade projects and capacity planning initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent vendor credentials
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configurations
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista hardware
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Valid Tennessee driver's license (for occasional on-site visits)
