Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade LAN/WAN infrastructure including Cisco/Juniper switches and routers
- Implement and maintain security protocols (VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS) to protect critical data assets
- Proactively monitor network performance using SolarWinds/NPM and resolve incidents within SLA timelines
- Lead network migration projects to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid architectures
- Document network topologies, configurations, and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate vulnerabilities and conduct penetration testing
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages and coordinate vendor escalations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise network administration (Cisco/Juniper certification required)
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and advanced routing protocols
- Proven experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python) and SD-WAN solutions
- Strong background in network security (Fortinet/Palo Alto firewalls, IDS/IPS implementation)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (CCNP/JNCIE certification preferred)
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet) and hybrid infrastructure
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network analyzers (Wireshark, Fiddler)
- Ability to manage complex projects and mentor junior technicians
