Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls across multi-site environments
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and Cisco Prime, proactively addressing security vulnerabilities
- Document network topology changes and maintain accurate configuration management records
- Collaborate with cloud teams to integrate hybrid cloud solutions (AWS/Azure)
- Provide Tier-3 support for VoIP systems and wireless network optimization
- Lead network upgrade projects including 10Gig and SD-WAN implementations
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct quarterly failover testing
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level network administration experience
- Certified Cisco CCNP or CCIE required
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN technologies
- Strong proficiency with Palo Alto firewalls and Fortinet security solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Hands-on experience with Ansible automation and Python scripting
- Valid CompTIA Security+ certification
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts and occasional off-hours maintenance
