Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures including LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot enterprise-grade networking hardware such as Cisco, Juniper, and Arista routers and switches.
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools to ensure 99.99% uptime and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Conduct regular security audits and implement firewalls to protect sensitive data from cyber threats.
- Provide expert-level technical support and mentorship to junior network engineers and IT staff.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for future maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade legacy systems and integrate cloud solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Network Technician or Network Engineer.
- Valid CCNA or CCNP certification is required; CCIE is a strong plus.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and switching technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for network automation.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
