Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise network architectures including LAN, WAN, and cloud-based solutions
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime, proactively resolving outages
- Implement security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS) to protect against cyber threats
- Document network configurations and maintain accurate infrastructure documentation
- Collaborate with cloud teams to ensure seamless hybrid network integration
- Lead network upgrade projects from planning to implementation
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Network Engineering or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Certifications: CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent required
- Expertise in Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks equipment
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Proficient in network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues independently
