Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPN environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Perform network audits, capacity planning, and performance tuning to ensure optimal data flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and upgrade legacy systems.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and industry standards (NIST, ISO).
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network staff.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in network engineering or administration.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher (CCNP preferred).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG) and packet analyzers (Wireshark).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues under pressure.
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent military experience.
