Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex multi-site network infrastructures including Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto systems
- Lead network migrations and upgrades while maintaining 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Develop and execute network security protocols to mitigate cyber threats
- Collaborate with cloud teams to optimize hybrid cloud connectivity and performance
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct quarterly network health assessments
- Document all network architectures using Visio and SolarWinds
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration with Cisco/Juniper certification (CCNP/JNCIP required)
- Expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and advanced routing protocols
- Strong background in network automation with Python/Ansible
- Experience with SD-WAN implementation (Cisco Viptela or VMware SD-WAN)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex Layer 2-3 issues under pressure
