Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless systems
- Lead network security initiatives including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access control protocols
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Document network configurations and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network issues and outages
- Evaluate and implement emerging networking technologies to maintain competitive advantage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network administration and design
- Expertise in Cisco, Juniper, and Arista network hardware and software
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIE preferred
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
