Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex LAN/WAN infrastructures including Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Lead network optimization projects to enhance security, performance, and scalability
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical network outages and proactive maintenance
- Document network architecture using Visio and maintain configuration management systems
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network solutions and SD-WAN implementations
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct quarterly network health assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (CCNP/CCIE certification required)
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- Expertise in Cisco IOS/Junos, Palo Alto firewalls, and VMware NSX
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and QoS protocols
- Experience with network automation tools (Python, Ansible) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Valid CompTIA Security+ certification
- Ability to work rotating on-call schedule and travel to satellite offices
