Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for end-users via phone, email, and remote desktop tools, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Manage and maintain hardware and software inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and timely procurement of new assets.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues, including LAN, WAN, and wireless network problems.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus software, and user access controls to protect company data.
- Conduct regular system backups, disaster recovery testing, and perform routine system maintenance to ensure business continuity.
- Train staff on new software applications, IT best practices, and security awareness programs.
- Collaborate with the SysAdmin team on infrastructure projects and server upgrades.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in IT Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or Systems Administration.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware peripherals, printers, and mobile devices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
