Responsibilities
- Lead the 24/7 monitoring and analysis of security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct forensic investigations and root cause analysis for security breaches.
- Design and implement advanced network security controls, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and GDPR regulations.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Develop and maintain automated security scripts to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security engineering.
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
- Extensive experience with SIEM tools and EDR solutions.
- Deep understanding of cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
