Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level security architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Lead complex incident response investigations and remediation efforts in the event of a security breach.
- Conduct regular penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits to ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA standards.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and awareness training programs for employees across all departments.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Monitor security events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk) and analyze threat intelligence to predict and mitigate risks.
- Manage vendor relationships for third-party security assessments and security tooling.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a senior engineering or architecture role.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are required.
- Hands-on experience with security tools including SIEM, EDR, and DLP solutions.
- Proven track record of leading incident response teams and handling security emergencies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
