Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with IT teams and external stakeholders to contain and remediate security breaches.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our infrastructure before they are exploited.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Perform security architecture reviews for new software and hardware deployments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network defense.
- Certification required: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CSSP.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and log analysis.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and malware analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
