Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen Models: Design and implement cutting-edge Generative AI architectures, including large-scale Transformer models, diffusion models, and reinforcement learning agents.
- Optimization & Scaling: Lead initiatives to optimize model inference latency and reduce token costs, ensuring our solutions are commercially viable at scale.
- R&D Leadership: Conduct high-level research to explore emerging techniques (e.g., agentic workflows, memory-augmented reasoning) and evaluate their feasibility for 2026 product cycles.
- Ethical AI Governance: Establish and enforce internal guidelines for responsible AI, ensuring fairness, transparency, and bias mitigation in generated outputs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and legal teams to translate complex AI capabilities into user-friendly features.
- Team Mentorship: Guide a team of ML researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Advanced Degree: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and PyTorch/TensorFlow frameworks.
- Experience: 5+ years of industry experience building and deploying large-scale machine learning systems, with a specific focus on Generative AI or LLMs.
- Code Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Python and C++ for performance engineering and model serving.
- System Design: Proven track record of designing distributed systems capable of handling petabytes of data and high concurrency.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
