Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer breakthrough solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning to anticipate technological disruptions
- Mentor junior innovators and cultivate a culture of experimental thinking
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum systems, neurotech, or climate tech
- Certified Futurist (CF) designation from Association of Professional Futurists
- Exceptional data visualization and strategic communication skills
- Published author in peer-reviewed technology journals or major industry publications
