Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight framework using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Create strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies with 18-36 month implementation timelines
- Present visionary scenarios to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for innovation adoption and track technological disruption metrics
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight intelligence network
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation journals
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
