Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology foresight frameworks using scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs and national innovation priorities
- Partner with product teams to translate future-vision into actionable R&D pipelines
- Present findings to investors, policymakers, and industry consortiums
- Establish ethical guardrails for emerging technologies through stakeholder engagement
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and geopolitical implications for innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite tech leadership
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrices)
- Deep understanding of technology convergence patterns and S-curves
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into executive strategy
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or relevant technical field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-vision implementations
- Security clearance eligibility (for government partnerships)
