Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and systemic risks in emerging domains (AI, quantum computing, bio-convergence)
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on future workforce models, regulatory landscapes, and market disruptions
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into 3-5 year roadmaps
- Establish metrics to track early signals of technological convergence and societal adoption curves
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight community of practice
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented technology planning
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies or societal transformation
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Deep understanding of AI ethics, quantum computing applications, and neurotech trends
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into executive-level strategic priorities
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFIF) or equivalent credential
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-shaping initiatives
