Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and societal shifts to inform 2026+ strategic planning
- Develop and maintain proprietary future outlook frameworks using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Lead executive workshops to co-create innovation roadmaps and competitive positioning strategies
- Present future insights to board members and C-suite leadership through compelling visual narratives
- Partner with R&D to integrate emerging technologies into product development lifecycles
- Monitor horizon scanning outputs and refine forecasting methodologies quarterly
- Mentor junior strategists and build a world-class futurism capability within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Innovation, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in strategic planning, trend analysis, or futurism with Fortune 500 or consulting experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and quantitative forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex future concepts into executable strategies
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Palantir, TrendHunter, Gartner) and data visualization platforms
- Published thought leadership on future trends in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience advising C-suite on disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts
