Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Develop and publish annual Future Impact Reports with actionable strategic insights
- Architect cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage a $5M innovation incubator portfolio
- Build partnerships with leading research institutions and venture labs
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 market-defining innovations
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Proficiency in futures research tools (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, STEEP analysis)
- Experience securing government/enterprise innovation grants
