Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Develop future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for C-suite executives
- Facilitate innovation workshops with global stakeholders and research partners
- Drive R&D initiatives in exponential technologies (quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at major conferences
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio and mentor cross-functional teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in futurism, strategy consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in technology, foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and systems thinking methodologies
- Published author or speaker at Davos, TED, or equivalent forums
- Deep knowledge of exponential technology convergence patterns
- Experience managing distributed global innovation teams
- Portfolio demonstrating tangible future-shaping initiatives
