Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for product roadmaps
- Lead innovation workshops with Fortune 500 partners and government agencies
- Author thought leadership pieces for industry publications and conferences
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and data scientists
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through compelling innovation proposals
- Integrate foresight outputs into corporate strategy and M&A activities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in foresight, innovation strategy, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of publishing trend analysis in top-tier journals
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of at least three exponential technology domains
- Experience leading high-impact innovation initiatives in tech/healthcare
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Portfolio demonstrating tangible impact from foresight work
