Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ strategic planning
- Develop and publish high-impact futurist reports and scenario-planning frameworks
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder consultations on emerging futures
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation hubs
- Integrate foresight methodologies into corporate strategy and product development lifecycles
- Represent the company at global conferences and futurist forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends
- Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills for executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., SFU, CFS) preferred
- Experience working in tech, healthcare, or sustainability sectors
