Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework for multi-industry impact
- Lead scenario planning workshops with Fortune 500 partners to identify disruptive technology vectors
- Author annual 'Future State' reports distributed to global stakeholders and investors
- Manage portfolio of emerging technology pilots (AI, quantum, bio-convergence) with $5M+ annual budget
- Mentor junior futurists and establish departmental innovation KPIs
- Represent company at global future-tech forums and thought leadership summits
- Integrate foresight outputs into product development lifecycle for 3+ flagship projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-tech R&D
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized solutions
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech stacks (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level stakeholder management
- Published thought leadership in future-tech publications (e.g., MIT Tech Review, WIRED)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Thinking preferred
