Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning to identify and analyze disruptive trends across AI, biotech, climate tech, and digital economies
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Strategic Foresight Report' with evidence-based future scenarios
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops with executive teams to embed future-thinking into core business decisions
- Create quantitative forecasting models for emerging market opportunities and systemic risks
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic thought leaders
- Translate future scenarios into actionable product roadmaps and innovation initiatives
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders including investors, board members, and government partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused organizational strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic risk assessment methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives for diverse audiences
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and societal impacts
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through strategic transformation initiatives
- Published thought leadership in futures publications or peer-reviewed journals
