Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify high-impact opportunities and risks across quantum computing, biotech, and AI domains
- Produce executive-grade reports and visualizations translating future trends into strategic priorities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and innovation labs to shape emerging ecosystems
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability within the organization
- Present findings to the board and executive team to drive strategic decision-making
- Monitor global innovation landscapes and disruptor threats to maintain competitive advantage
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative foresight methodologies (Delphi, Delphi 2.0, causal layered analysis)
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into successful commercial initiatives
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-level executives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF) strongly preferred
