Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, biotech, and quantum computing sectors
- Produce annual Horizon Reports with predictive analytics on societal and technological inflection points
- Design and validate prototype systems for next-gen human augmentation interfaces
- Secure $5M+ annual funding through strategic partnerships with DARPA, NASA, and private equity firms
- Author white papers published in Nature Futures and IEEE Spectrum
- Mentor junior futurists through Horizon's Future Leaders Program
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent with 8+ years in strategic foresight
- Published portfolio of 2020+ technology predictions with >85% accuracy rate
- Expertise in scenario planning using Delphi methods and Monte Carlo simulations
- Proven track record of scaling R&D initiatives from concept to commercial deployment
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for government collaboration projects
- Proficiency in Python, R, and TensorFlow for predictive modeling
- Fluency in at least two languages beyond English
